Flash is evil. It reduces your site compatibility, renders the content invisible to search engines, reduces browser compatibility, increases load time, decreases standardisation, blocks you from text-only and other media-restricted devices, and means you will never have a blind or otherwise disabled user.
Flash should never be used for menus, important content, etc. Use only for demos in cases where you must have animation. |
